Somehow during my rebuild I lost the return spring for my throwout arm, and if that's not enough fun I have no idea what it looks like or where it hooks to the block.

This is on an 82 D150, slant and 833OD. Does anyone have a photo of this setup? I can see where the spring goes on the arm but the block is unclear. Maybe it hooks to the half-round hole where he block meets the bellhousing? Any help especially spring measurements would be greatly appreciated.

By the pic it looks like it would go in the hole in that brace.

It's gona be 40 below here in a day or two here, but I'll be working on my d100 this week end and could get some photos before I shrivel up.

Yikes. I've done the 40 below thing more than once, it sucks. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

The one in hooks inside the fork in the two holes goes in one and kind of pokes through the other and the other end latches on to the little hole/notch right there in the bell housing...

That's what I figured, thanks. Its off to Parkrose Hardware for an appropriate spring tomorrow.

I lied. it's only 36 below here today. This is from a V8, yours looks like a /6, attachement point looks different, but its 4 and 1/2 inchs long.
