Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good Afternoon!
After almost two months of fighting with the duster not charging and having belt alignment problems, and not starting with the key, I think I have finally got it all solved.
The most annoying part about all of this was the belts. my local oreilly's has ZERO clue how to measure and find belts.
First, the lady gave me a v-belt for a new car. no.
then she gave me a LAWNMOWER BELT also no.
4 belts later, I gave up and went to napa.
After I went in the first time, the guy was super cool and just let me take 3 belts to figure out which one I needed. 47 was too big. 45 was too small . 46 was perfect but I only found out about that after the fourth trip. after taking home at least 6 belts and four trips to the napa, the ordeal is over. and since the original belt I returned was the most expensive belt; I GAINED 3 DOLLARS!
I'm going to test it tomorrow as it is ohhellno degrees out today.

Well decided to go home while I could, I got a mile or so of gravel road between two very large fields to get home. The wind howls thru there and creates huge drifts. If I had stayed in town another hour not sure I could have made it home. Threw her in 4 lock dropped hammer and drove by wire thru! Zero visibility, I was praying somebody was not stuck in road I would have piled them. I won’t try that again till the plows start catching up. Oddly enough gravel roads don’t get priority. Hah! Blizzard warning most of the day, roads still shut down. Sitting in the shop listening to Jamey Johnson, sipping some bourbon letting the wind howl. Me n Hemi don’t care, we will emerge tomorrow!

Glad you bagged it and went home. Roads out here are the same way, last to get plowed.

that's not bad, but I get what your saying... Was just above freezing here today. But at that temp there can actually be a lot of moisture in the air. So, you feel cold faster.

the Santa ana's pushing the clouds over the cajon pass is what makes it bad. 40mph gusts. not fun. much rather have that than -12

Don't feel like it it's only you :lol: The truck thermometer never got above 50 from San Diego County to home here by the beach. Lot's of travelers clogged up my route 101 to avoid the Grapevine for the big winds up there. Didn't see any new snow, the overcast was covering the mountain tops. The Sierras up by Lake Tahoe and Donner Pass are a whole other story, big snow.

we are *supposed* to get snow from 1 to 5 am. so we will see if I get to do snow donuts tomorrow
 
My son and his family were here yesterday.
I have settlement on a property tomorrow morning.
Then an afternoon lunch with my daughter from Alaska who flew in last week with my oldest grandson and his fiancee, son's family and the other two grand daughter's, and the great grands.
Should be fun.
