Full custom garage...

I totally dig Ian's work. He has some very unorthodox ways of getting things done, but it works for him.

The last Packard he chopped and sectioned was looking amazing. Never saw it finished though. I may have to look and see if it got completed.

I have not.

I kinda hate to admit it but I dont often watch "car shows" on TV. They are just not my thing but of you say its good I give it a try.

(I got that Dodge Bros flat 6 purring like a kitten! Gotta clean out the fuel and brake systems and Im gonna road test it on some VERY OLD tires.)

What service is it on?

Edit- yes. I have seen that guy.

He is one show I will watch. I like his methods and I like his dog.

How in the heck did I ever miss this program!!??...:BangHead:..
Absolutely love it...
@Cope have you seen this show?..

He is a master. He had three seasons, and then several years later, he is back. If you pay $5 per month for Motortrend, you can watch them all.

I've got a video of our "danger ride" ..
I wouldn't let him take it out of the garage without good breaks... It was pretty cool..
There's a couple restoration programs that I like that are really doing one-off custom stuff... Once in a great while I get a good idea from them...

One of my favorite car shows! My 13-year-old son and I watch every episode. With his calm demeanor, I call him the "Bob Ross" of car builders.

One of the few "no staged BS car shows".

Disproving what many on forums say- that people won't watch if it doesn't have BS drama content.

I agree. I enjoy watching is builds, even though many are not my cup of tea. And no drama like said. His dog needs a diet!
Ian is a fabricator and artist!

Ian has a new season on now, damn good show.

He has two dogs now, a male and female. Both chunky dogs, very lovable and full of spunk.

Ian has a passion for what he does. He’s living in the late 40s through the 50s when car guys had nothing but old junk laying around to build their cars. It helps to have Gene Winfield as a mentor. He actually lives down the road from Gene Winfields shop.

I have been watching Ian for a few years. By far the best TV auto fab series on TV.
I think he has moved to Mojave and he is somewhere close to Gene Winfield.
Sometimes when I am doing small welding cutting projects I ask myself, what would Ian do?

I like the show a lot. Though, my OCD side does cringe a little every time he overlaps sheet metal when he's modifying body panels.

He seems like a really genuine dude and someone who'd be fun to sit around, have a beer, and shoot the **** with.
