I am building a 96 ext cab. It's going to be a play truck. It's getting stripped of everything unnecessary to lighten it up.
Cool. Dont forget to post pictures of your build or make you a build thread. Would be nice if there was more dakota race trucks at the track. Because the last time I went to the track I was the only dakota there compared to 10 S10 race trucks

what oil pan fits for a 5.9 mag in a 91 2wd?

Any 318 or 360 Magnum pan for a '92-04 Dakota, or '98-03 Durango. IIRC some of the B-vans got that pan too. The Ram pan will not work. The sump will hit the crossmember.

@mopar65, would you happen to have a picture of an intake gasket sitting on that Indy intake, showing the port size?
Also is that the 360-3M version, or the regular 360-3 version for LA heads?
I am wondering if the 360-3M is a decent port match for Edelbrock Magnum heads or is it much bigger than the head and have not found a picture yet.

Hi. I will have to look and see if I have any pictures saved on my phone. But the indy intake ports are a little bigger than the gaskets. On the sides if I remember. Thsts how they came when I got the intake back from porting. My intake was for magnum heads. I had it redrilled for LA heads. But by the time I was done I just should of sold it and bought one for the LA heads

First time out of the shop in my hometown car show.

I have everything to swap the indy headed 340 stroker into the dakota.
Just have to get all the pieces for the 512 and t56, then its engine swap time

how did you mount your brake master cylinder?
I just bought a metal plate at lowes and cut it to fit wear the vacum brake booster went
Of course after I got mine mounted I found a guy on face book making billet aluminum mounting brackets. The master cylinder and adjustable brake rod I bought from Doctor Diff. They are for a A body. The master cylinder is 15/16 bore

So far these are the only upclose pictures I could find of the indy intake. I won't be home to look on my home computer till sometime this weekend.

cool. I live 32 miles from Lebanon. yes they are cool guys. I used to work with Jason. he has the yellow 71 duster that i used to own. but it wasn't that fast when I had it.lol. that's awesome on the free Dakota. fill free to ask questions. but I don't know much about putting a turbo on a Mopar. but there is a boosted section on here that has a lot of great builds the owners have shared.

Stumbled across this thread while researching what other swaps people have done. Here is mine, picked up a 95 Dakota with a seized 2.5L in it, decided to have some fun and swap in a 4.0 I6. Fair amount of work yet but the hard stuff is done. Bed color will be the full color of the truck when done.

Off topic but, Any of you guys know of a front wheel hub that fits 99 r/t in 5 on 4.5 ?

89 Shelby Dakota. Not building it to race it. More of just a warm 360 to play around with. 84 lower end, J heads, .454/.454 cam, torker intake, shorty headers. I am the original owner. 89k miles, no rust anywhere. Kept it all original all these years, now it's time to mess with it.

Not that I have ever seen. I have heard of a few guys having the stock hubs drilled to 5x4.5 and some time ago I recall a guy that was attempting to convert a crown vic hub to fit the Dakota but I don't recall how that played out.

I need one of these. I do not do facebook but I will see if the wife can track it down. Would you maybe still have an email or something for him? Thanks for any help.
hi. i will look tonight and see what i can find
