WE ARE A GENERATION THAT WILL NEVER COME BACK.

:realcrazy:

For a guy that doesn’t like guns or hunts you sure do assume a lot. You really think people who hunt with the AR platform (5.56, 6.5, 7.62, 300 BLK) unloads a full 30 rd magazine into an animal? :realcrazy:
Also, I shoot mostly coyote and it’s with a 5.56 AR (I have a 7.62 for large game like boar and deer). You mostly never get more than 1 chance on a coyote or any other animal. A second shot to put it out of its misery if needed. Just because there are x number of rounds doesn’t mean you shoot them all.
Your thinking is the same as someone who wants to ban fast cars. Why would you need a car that can go 100 mph or 12 sec 1/4 miles? If your in that big of a rush you should just leave your house earlier. They might as well not even make those cars, then nobody would die in car crashes.
I am curious if you even know the difference between 5.56 and a 22 caliber? Do you guys have invasive pigs up there in Canada? How would you get rid of them, eh?
Yeah I know what a 22 looks like. We have three 303 live shells that my Father-in-Law kept from WW2. I'm not a fan of guns so why would I know anything about them. My son is a hunter and has several guns and a high powered pellet gun that you need a permit for. He also has two pistols, a 9 mm and a 22. He also has a cross bow. That's fine and good for him just not my cup of tea.
Not everyone has the same interests, it would be a pretty sad world if they did but not liking guns doesn't make me better or worse than everyone.
What if I liked sewing (I don't) but does that make me less of a man because I do? Absolutely not.
BTW yes we do have the invasive bore right here in town and we also have a large population of Coyotes which we can't shoot either of them. The authorities have to come in and determine if they are a threat. There were 6 pigs roaming the backroads and all were taken care of by the authorities.
We even had a moose walk down my street a number of years ago. Not bad for a city of 150,000. We even had a group of deer in the downtown and they broke through store windows and did a lot of damage.
