Once again, I was born in the early 50’s. Grew up in the 60’s/70’s. You know, the era of long haired hippies. The previous generation, (the greatest generation) thought we would never amount to anything. I believe we proved them wrong. The next generation, (my son’s) I worried about, and I believe they are doing a pretty good job of proving themselves. Now I’m concerned about the next, (my grandchildren’s) and hopefully they will do the same. If my 24 year old granddaughter is any indication, they will. As I said before, I feel it is our duty to do what we can to help them achieve that.
