Forcibly retired by some bone head that ran a red light and t-boned me. I started out building houses when I was a kid and ended up doing custom trim and cabinets for many years till I couldn't anymore.
Sorry to hear that Jeff. Hope you can still get around good.

I'm doing pretty good, was on all kinds of pain meds for years till I couldn't stand them anymore, a couple of years back I had a pain stimulator implanted in my back, it works as long as I don't overdo it. Best of all is I'm off the pills!

Glad your off the pills it seems from what I see is they work good at first then cause problems later on. Stay safe and don't over do it my friend.

Last day of work is done. Got to work and the boss said we ain't doing anything today but set and bullshit a few hours.
Gave me my last pay check and added another $6,500 in cash. :wtf: Happy to have worked with a good friend and still am shocked he gave me that much money.
Got a few bucks for the bug project!

Well I could and restore it complete with what money I have all saved up but I would be living on a shoe string budget from then on.
I don't know Randy with the cost of everything going up I might be better off paying off my house or investing in something. I'm not sure yet what to do.

Look after yourself first, the funds will come for the projects, but if you have no place to work, you'll have no need for a project.

And strong for there size as well as having a good heart from what I've seen , just don't piss them off.
Honestly, I don't think I've ever met one in real life

On a side note, got the door drying

Once the glue sets, is slap some hinges on and she'll be all done

Hi Fred, congratulations on your retirement. Drinking a beer in your honor, also having chili for supper.
