Is there asbestos in this brown firewall pad for mopar a bodies?

I don’t believe they used that stuff much on cars except possibly the brake pads and shoes
I would bet that all the seam sealer has asbestos in it. Asbestos was a common fiber used before the 80s, your old vinyl floors has it, your lath and plaster has it etc.

I recall in the 60s and 70s taking brake drums off and taping them on the ground to get the excess dust out. no respirators etc. and I was maybe 10 at the time. Only time will tell if it hurt me. My father in law was a pipe fitter in the 40-80s and worked in a bomb plant during WWII. He died of complications of mesothelioma, not a pretty death having your abdomen drained every few days at the end.

Yes one fiber can kill you BUT as with all things the more you are exposed the greater your chances of a problem. Anyone who works in a building built before 1980 probably is exposed to asbestos daily but in low concentrations and the effects on life expectancy will be statistically very low to zero
