And that is ultimately the bottom line, if it's not safe, refuse it. My company will always have the driver's back, and they are constantly doing training and reevaluating. It sometimes gets annoying when I have to repeat the same courses every year but every time I've had to refuse the trip because of a safety issue I have never been criticized or admonished for doing so.
