Either make one in a lathe (thats what I did) or round off an old lifter. You will still have to go in there with a paper roll and make damn sure that the lifter doesn’t rub on the tube and the lifter goes up and down the lifter bore like a knob on a crap house door.
I took a old lifter to the bench grinder and rounded it.That seemed to work ok but yes it's still tight with a new lifter.I thought a brake hone may give enough clearance but not sure if that's the right way to go about it.
