I used to volunteer for thanksgiving and Christmas and new years day. Double time and a half. Till I realized my taxes wiped out one day of pay! No more Christmas work......
I won't do it on the actual holiday. But I figure the tax evens itself out at the end of the year and I get it in my refund. Plus they said they are paying the bonus as miscellaneous so not taxed as income
