My nephews purchased a 1965 Valiant Safari 3 years ago and I have been helping them restore it. We very close now. The final few pieces are taking a while.
I own 2 E bodies and a B body.
My father owned a number of Australian valiants back in the 60's and 70's.

That is cool looking wagon and looks like you are making some great progress.
There is a forum on here dedicated to the Early A cars.

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome, should have joined up long ago. Boys want a surf wagon and safari fits the bill.
Car was a lot more rusty than we thought, started stripping paint and Swiss cheese appeared.

My B body is a '70 Roadrunner in orange, I from Nelson, got a friend in Blenhiem with a yellow '70 GTX .
