Well after not finding a set and had thoughts of modifying a set from an e body and decided against it , I broke down and ordered these from Mopar Plus for $380 + shipping , dam it why are the ones for an A-body so dam high

Started to assembly engine a little today but ran in to a snag with ring compressor , some are just worthless these days , so broke down an ordered a non adjustable from Summit before I break a new ring , but its still a long way from ready , haven't gotten the heads to machine shop yet ,

Small progress been at other projects and had a job interview as I am trying to change jobs due to idiots that are clueless in running a maintenance dept .
Had a few hours today and a fellow member here was able to send a patch for front lower passenger quarter behind door , good solid piece , did have a dent lower area , will need to hammer an dolly out better , will still need to fab a bottom section as that is a hard area to cut out and save as this is an original piece , but think I can make a new bottom section to complete

Thought I would just add the folding rear seat pieces today but found other issues,, of course I expected some ,,here are some pictures of areas that now I need to address , was hoping not to do the trunk floor area but it has pitting on floor and trunk extensions have rust down at bottom of quarter panels but the quarter panel I think I can save ,, but the trunk floor areas have issues on extensions and joint areas , pictures show some issues as the trunk floor extensions have issues and pitting on trunk floor surface areas ,, and the seams look bad under the seam sealer joints so I am cutting out the trunk floor ,,I already have the a new rear tail panel an front an rear bumpers purchased , so why stop now lol

Yeah got a lot done already , the trunk floor an extensions are in as well as tail panel and quarters repaired not going to need much filler except the seams , got the rear seat hard ware installed for the fold down seat , I am in the middle of dropping the k frame soon to install a spool mount style k frame and will add sway bar and rebuild the front end but need to save some money lol , got the heads in machine shop so I can finish the engine build but there dragging due to high business but soon I hope , just a few more spots on body to repair , couple pin holes on cowl to repair and passenger fender is solid but the mounting area on top were bolts go has rust issues of all places but I can fix that ,,then some lead welding and sand sand sand an more sanding but have rest of year to finish those things as many little projects slowing me up and money of course ,, next year am hoping to be ready to buy a new interior with any luck as I have the drive train bought an ready after engine is finished but of course then the little things that will Nickle an dime it to death until paint time but love the project

Been way to busy in paying job , to get much done but got the k frame cleaned up that I am using , came off 75 dart , and about to press in lower control arm bushings , hope to start tear in to front end and get the disk brake set up installed and big bolt pattern rotors , if my real jobs slows anytime soon that is

Of all the places to find rust in a frame rail ,,rest is as solid as new but right under a-frame a hole , bet I dug 2 pounds of dirt an rock off the top side on both sides , the other side is more solid but mother Mopar could have had a better design

slow progress lately but got the heads back from shop and the engine is coming along , nice set of X heads , just need some new head bolts, have all the drive train components now with engine coming together, the 340 should purr nicely but need some small parts to finish but nice to get this far with all my other work going on,, , have a good intake an carb to install , have a little work to do on front to weld an clean up for epoxy primer if I can get caught up from bill paying job

Been off the project for awhile but going to hit it more now that cold weather is setting in , got to start on my building the front end , have parts just have to weld in some support plates at upper control arm area , which isn't as bad as I first thought , also just ordered all the interior parts from legendary interior as they have a good sale at moment , saved about $500 of regular cost an shipping,, of course unsure of what they tell me will be back ordered which was another reason to order now as in a year or sooner will be ready , maybe by summertime if I can get the paint done on the interior side which its about ready for primer there , just need to weld in support plates for bucket seats ,,but I ordered all this so I should have 95% of interior covered maybe all except small piece here and there , but at least its another big purchase out of the way an perhaps the last except for wheels/tires. an paint so guess this is my Christmas present to me

I may have it but see no reason to keep it , and may already be gone as when cutting out I took no pains to save anything ,its never going to be original

Its been slow going with real job in way and cold weather but some of the interior has started showing up , got front door panels an seat cushions for the bucket seats and rear carpet for fold down seat an rear area , but lots more of interior parts to come , waiting for delivery on lots more as the interior is getting completely redone and at least I will have the interior parts in hand ,at least its something , might do the seats soon if the covers come in soon , will be white seats an black carpet and will be paying for it another year lol
