Dad had a Metro parts car for needed stuff for the Metro Mom drove for fun.
He also had a '63 Merc Colony Park wagon that had been retired from service.
I was 15 or 16 and looking at those vehicles sitting in his storage yard and formulating how to get that 430 from the Merc into that little Metro
I think he recognized my expression from his own youth and in no uncertain terms told me that he was not going to let that happen :lol:
