What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

I decided to finalize the wiring in my intellitronix digital dash. I utilized a power supply extension for the harness connection. Someone here made the suggestion. Then some Amazon wire harness covers and all the wires are tucked away.

I had a hard time tucking all the wiring under the dash that I had and you have lots more.

Good point. I haven't skimped and I am far from cheap. Would love to have them fit and use the entire kit. We'll see tomorrow
I ended up using locking nuts on original adjusters on 3 rockers. I somehow lost a nit of the 16 I got from Mancini so I can't return them, After being 180 out I got her fired up yesterday. Sounds great.

Today, bolted the painted valve covers and the manifolds in place, now a bunch of smalls.... maybe tomorrow.

Sold more parts....this time for bills. God, please help my wife get a job !
I have my K-member at work doing some cutting & welding to strengthen and make room for the milodon oil pan.
I'm waiting for my assassin bars to arrive & the temperature to get over 20 degrees.
I'll start with the minitubbing & onboarding the springs. Have Calvert split monoleafs & sliders.
Then install my very narrow Dana 60 & order some new weld wheels 15by12 with 30by12 hoosier slicks.
My 471 is near completion, then trans.
Still got a **** load of stuff to do but it's cold

Put new door handles and drivers side mirror on that I bought from Layson's. Carpeted the rear seat area since I had an extra piece decided why not?? Detailed and painted the 340-S hood inserts and reinstalled.( I think they look amazing). I reinstalled the Antique radio back in the car after having it updated and checked over. I bought a nice used driver's side air box which I cleaned , detailed and painted then reinstalled.

Engine stand to run stand taking my time, it seems to be the norm nowadays to wait for parts. I guess it gives me time to double check the process and have another beer or more.

Reinstalled my power steering gearbox after getting it gone through by Steer and Gear down in Columbus. Starting to put the 71 Demon back together.

I sent off my power steering pump for a rebuild and got it back yesterday. Installed it tonight. Plenty of pressure now at idle.

I started to fit my new floor pan and get started on that. Now that it’s fitting nicely I’m going to start to weld it in.

Looks like some seriously well done work there!! I should have called you!!
I took an easier road as I just needed a driver side portion of the pan. The rears still look brand new and the pass side was almost as good. Obviously water had gotten in on the driver side at some point and sat there hiding and doing its damage (I redid the wiper pivots so that won't happen if that's where it came from). So I cut out the bad and welded in the new pan. Mr. BFH helped alot priot to welding. Also spent time after welding using a spotlight looking for pinholes where the welds may not have joined up. Had just a few - welded them up. No pro welder here but it gets the job done. Pretty happy too how tight it fits up on the bottom too, very little gap if any at all. Will tidy that up later in the build.
Now waiting for those sticky sound deadener panels to arrive and line the floors and will then reinstall the carpet and seats.
Crappy pic but shows the idea. 1 piece pan welded in.

I had to pull the trans out of the Charger as it was leaking between trans and bellhousing.Sealed it up and all is good so far. Also got the e brake system installed.Had to get the cable through the US car tool subframe connector, add more threads and shorten the adjuster on the pass side.
