Nice original 71 340 Duster

In my first post on this thread I mentioned

" And he is not in prison last I heard"

Because this is definitely a fraud and vin swap . There are members on this site that are always stating that if you have a rusted 340 car and you use a rust free shell to rebuild your car and do it correctly you will go to prison.
Well here is a evident clone vin swap that can clearly be seen and they didn't have a 340 car they rebuilt . They turned a /6 or 318 car into a 340 car with just numbers. This is a a dealer and on the web for all to see.

Why don't all the big mouths on this site turn this *** hole in.

He definitely stated "12,886 cars were built with 340's and this is one of them" Because it has the vin on the dash? That has been put there and not even the original Dash?

Where are all the clone haters now? Or are you quiet because this guy is a celebrity on "Barrett jackson"

Many clones on this site that are done right that you could never tell. unless you know the little things. They are not clones they are rebodied original that have had only the shell replaced. And I see nothing wrong with some of them.
The first thing that alway catches my eye is the absence of the drip rail chrome and the filler still in place. I have a drawer of fillers.

But the one thing everyone forgets is the hidden Philips screw. Can anyone tell me where it is?

I am 67 years old and I have rebodied many rust buckets over the years and some of you own them. But you can never tell them from an original. I see them at Carlisle. Even some B-bodies . Some are front and rear clips to make one that was done at a body shop I helped for collision repairs in the 70's.

The best is when I approached a lady at Carlisle and told her her RR was a belvidere. It was a show winner rust free 4spd car from out west? When actually it was a 318 auto car from Pa. Her jaw dropped when I proved it to her. Not even the judges new. LMFAO.

Boy could I turn the light on for many owners. And I have done so. Example was a 1970 340 copper swinger from up state NY I went wit a buyer to inspect . Missing the screw He finally admitted it but still sold the car as original. But not to my buyer. I have seen it on this site since.
