1st let me say I am clueless how to use a Forum, so if I'm doing it wrong please forgive me.

But i wanted to put this question out there,

I have a Very Clean 1964 V200, well, it was very clean.

Earlier this week it suffered substantial damage (oak tree fell on it), it is still 75% usable to some one, I imagine it will still run and drive.

So my question is what is it worth, what should I sell whats left of it for?

This is it before the tree fell on it...

Oh spare us the carnage shots! But they are pretty rare for parts...Insured? If they goce you blue book on it will probably be $600. Damn shame but there are quite a few on here, probably the best restoration forum for these is here and here: EVBC
Good luck!

These are unibody, any major blow structurally behind the firewall is gonna be tough to fix 'right' by an auto bodyshop.

Welcome to FABO Dan, You're doing fine, car not so much! Sorry to hear that, she looks like a beauty, insurance? Anything can be fixed right, but the degree of difficulty in repair & parts acquisition will go up together with like cost. Hard to say what to ask w/o seeing damage, and You would likely get more from it by parting-out & selling shell, if You had the space/time to do so. Don't want to see that happen if she's repairable.

Agree with the previous.. I always want to see it saved but there are limits of time and money.

64 Valiant parts are not so easy to find

Best

If you decide to let it go, put an add in the parts car section.
Sorry to see this. It looked like a Nice car.

Bummer, that’s a nice car, sorry that happened. Got any more pictures of the car, interior, front, engine shots? There is EASILY $2000 worth the parts on that car, maybe more. Many will say these cars are worth more in parts than whole. Front clip, floors, frames, firewall, even the lower quarters are still good, people are always wanting that stuff! Plus you have all the trim, mechanicals, interior....fully parting it out takes time and you need to save as much as you can that’s good to make the most $ on it, tons of good parts to sell if you go that route! Some people will argue the price but try finding good useable parts for a 64 Valiant can be a real challenge.

Or it could be fixed by someone who has a parts car, but 4-door Valiants are not high on the list for these kinds of repairs. Could pull and hammer it all back out, get a different trunk lid and drive it again?

Unstable trees suck, one w/a soft root system slid then fell across the road 3/4mi from My Folks, killing one occupant & seriously injuring the other in a car....wrong place & time. It is repairable, would require a doner car, & a bunch of labor.

As others said, it's a shame. What drive train is in it.
If you don't have insurance to cover it, then out of pocket probably not worth fixing.
So then it comes down to, can or do you want to pull it apart to sell parts. or sell it all as is.

Looks like the right front fender has been changed between the first pic and the smushed pic. Has a 65 fender on it now.
Might be correct, or just light reflection distorting the image.
Fist pic passenger door has no mirror, recent one does.

Yeah I do have insurance, just waiting on the process
It has the 170 with the push button 904

still runs and drives...

Imma say fix it. Quarters, deck lids, etc are easier to find for 4-door cars. I'm no body guy, but you're not even buying back glass unless you break it taking it out.

There’s a 63 4 door on Facebook Marketplace. Located in Gridley. Not nearly as nice as your car, but may be helpful if you choose to fix yours.

Edit: maybe minimally helpful. I’m seeing some of the differences in the body…

Yeah, "odd duck" the '63 , as called out by SSD. Rear glass/body jambs/latches etc.

Still waiting on the insurance company to give me a value, and the buy back price.

NADA does have a value guide for it, so hopefully I will be properly compensated.

I'll likely sell it as a whole. I don't have the time or energy to rebuild it, nor to part it out.

It'd be a great parts/restore car for someone who does have the energy for the project.

Hopefully they give you a fair value, 4-doors and not high on the list or any Valiant for that matter....wish you were closer I’d love to save it....Good luck!
