Stop in for a cup of coffee

Sweet that’s a bit cheaper than Lowe’s where we bought this. So basically here’s the situation. I paid for half this welder 6-7 years ago. The other owner is now deceased. I have to pay the other half of its current value, to keep it. Trying to find someone to appraise it, but no one locally seems to know what to appraise it at.

so if we go with a standard business tool depreciation, it’s value is basically nothing

Yeah. Looks like online auction sites they’ve been selling for anywhere from 25.00 to 405 over the last 6 months. But the higher ones have tons of stuff that mine doesn’t have. Like upgraded guns and such. So even if I go with the 405 figure, Max I should need to pay is 200, minus all the repairs i put in it a few months ago

Little snow and cold here, -2, bit chilly feeding the horses and taking the dogs for a walk. Back inside, made some oatmeal and some coffee, all is good.

Call a welding supply store and ask what trade in value is.

Hey guys. I will have to say hoppys dog Harley is a great dog. So sweet. We all love our dogs.....i have one. Happy, 15 years old and pees and poops in the house at night. She has a tough time standing on our smooth floors. I get up and clean and steam clean the floors every morning. I love that dog. Had her since a pup. Will miss her.... Our floors are all ceramic tile. Easy to clean...

Tried that. There’s only one within 3 hours that does trade ins and they wouldn’t give me a value because it’s over 3 years old...

I was going to say around $160 on a straight depreciation line not accounting for market.

That's assuming you are still friendly with the family...

Did that with my last one as well Tim. Good on ya. Took a year and a half off before bringing in the new pupper.

Seems pretty simple to me. Find a couple for sale in similar condition and take the average. Who used it that it required the repairs? If all one side, then they should cover it, if shared, repair cost is split. Subtract accordingly. Then you pay your half of what's left.

Mom was diagnosed with Covid today. My sis is finding out what strain. She has some minor symptoms but not sick.
