Anyone have experience with sway bar interference issues and suggestions to correct? Doing a disk brake swap on a 67 Barracuda and told to put calipers to the front to avoid brake line routing issues (apparently they will be very long if going to the back). But, also read that having calipers on the front will interfere with the sway bar end links when turning. Is this true and if so can I use a 73 or later A body sway bar in place of the earlier 67 to 72 style sway bar and weld new tabs on LCA? Or is there another option other than putting calipers to the back? Thanks!

Yes. Same problem on my 69 Dart. Solution is to rear mount the calipers. For this you need to swap sides on the spindles and calipers. Not the lower ball joint, that stays.

Like Roy said, swap the spindles/calipers side-to-side so they are rear mounted. Just use longer FMJ or '69 Camaro disc hoses and you'll be good.

Wow, Camero parts on a mopar! I don't want to slow it down! Might as well do a LS swap, throw on a cowl hood and put a 9" rear-end in it. Lol, kidding of course to work up the crowd. Thanks for that info.

Are you using a stock or aftermarket bar? Do you lower control arms have the factory tabs?

Gonna use the bar PST offers for the 67-72 Abody (part SWAY150) and will weld tabs on. No tabs currently.

That bar is identical to the Addco bar, which is what I have and works with either the stock tabs (which I also have and use) or supplied angles that bolt on with your shock bolt. Mounting is a bit funky but it works. There are better set ups out there now with better brackets like Firm Feel, Hotchkis, and Hellwig so you might shop bars and compare install. Addco was the only option in 1997 when I bought mine.

The one shown on Abodyjoe's is a Hellwig I believe. It mound like the stock bar did.

Not sure what your plans for the car are, but I'll throw this out there because you're talking about welding on your own lower control arm tabs. The factory sway bar and sway bar tab locations limit your tire width up front pretty substantially, as in, 245's won't fit. Now, that's basically only a consideration if you plan on running 17" rims or larger up front since that's what it takes to run 245's up front inside the fenders.

If you are leaning more toward pro-touring though, I would either use the Hellwig 55917 Hellwig 55917 Hellwig Motorsports Tubular Sway Bars | Summit Racing, which was designed in league with a member here so he could run wider tires up front, or the Hotchkis 67-72 bar Hotchkis Sport Suspension 22385F Hotchkis Sport Suspension Anti-Sway Bar Kits | Summit Racing

Both of those bars fit the 67-72 K member and use a sway bar tab location that's pretty much the same as the later 73+ cars. Since you're welding your own tabs on either way, this would be the time to move them if clearance for wider tires up front is a consideration. If wider tires aren't a consideration, then the Hellwig #5906 will do the job nicely.

As for the brakes, just run them to the rear and use '69 Camaro disk hoses. This is the info you want, courtesy of DoctorDiff. He also sells longer steel braided hoses for that application
Caliper/hose fitment:

Rear mount ('72 and older A bodies, '69 and older B-bodies):
Use '80 and newer slider calipers and '69 Camaro disc brake hoses

Front mount ('73 and newer A bodies, '70-'72 B-bodies and all E-bodies):
Use '79 and older slider calipers and '73 Mopar A-body disc brake hoses

As for Chevy parts, well, let's get real. You're going to buy them from a company that also makes Mopar hoses, they're just a section of rubber hose with connectors on the ends that happen to fit both a Camaro and a 67-72 A-body with the calipers mounted to the rear. The only difference from the Mopar part is the length of the hose.
