Speedmaster 190 Data

Glad to see this thread.
I too bought some, and I am having them looked over after I looked them over.
They look like a NEW RED RYDER out of the box. but yea, look close.
I disassembled, ran a sanding drum over the thru the port/thru the bowl, transition where they didn't quite come together. And mine were rough around where the guide came into the bowl too. I knocked that down with a conical sanding drum.
I was unsure about the valve guides. Shop is going to look at 'em.
Chambers cc's came out to about 69cc. working with syringes. Having them cut 0.025"

Now,
the valve springs? - The shop is checking them too.
The web site goes blank on the 190 Hyd RLR setup. All I have to go by is the 170cc head setup.
Dint measure before disassembly, but suppose to have been installed at 1.80"
Dual coil springs, no damper. Inner spring about 1/4" shorter than outer. where the seat pressure is.
Intakes had 0.160" and exhaust had about 0.140" stacks of 5/6 blued steel shims under them.
Plenty of room to work with. I will Post what shop finds.

great info on the flow numbers!
* Do you think cleaning up around the front/back transition will significantly help?
certainly couldn't hurt.

OH, AND,
these come with three angle valve job. I have yet to check this. Let us know what you find.
