Dragweek 2021
Things went so well on the 287 mile drive that we got to the hotel early. 10 pm bedtime! Except when we got to the hotel and exited the car we could hear a hiss. Sounded like a cooling system leak. Upon further inspection we found the tire going flat right before our eyes. Dang it. The valve stem core vibrated loose and it was letting air out. So another drag weeker helped us out with a valve core tool and gave me and the tire a ride to a gas station for some air. After shooting the breeze and fixing the dang tire we went to bed. 12:30 instead of 10. Any sleep is good sleep!
