New Approach to Stick Shift Clutch Tuning

I have read this and am very perplexed! My Valiant Charger with 410 when I first ran it at the drags with those radial drag/street tyres I was dropping the clutch at abot three or four thousand revs and running around 12.1 . I then did a run just dropping the clutch at about twelve hundred revs and it ran a 11.7 straight away. I learnt that the engine had enough torque to pull out of the hole with just dead hooking it and from then on would run 11.7s all day long!
Imagine if you could leave the line with your two-step set at 4500 RPMs and have your clutch tamer adjusted to give just a quarter to a half a turn of slip... Just enough to have Max torque at takeoff?...
What is your 60 ft time right now?...
