Who's gonna win the CFP championship, notice i said who's gonna win, not who do you want to win.

Before Dabo Sweeny got hired as the head coach at Clemson, he was an assistant coach at Alabama. Alabama was playing Georgia, at Georgia one year. When the Georgia Bulldogs ran onto the field before the game, the team had their mascot "UGA" the bulldog run on the field with them. Fat ol UGA ran as hard as he could go to the 50 yard line, then sat down and started licking his nuts. Nick Saben elbowed Dabo Sweeny and pointed at UGA and said, "Damn, I wish I could do that!" Dabo just looked at him and said "Coach, that dog would BITE you if you did!"

Dawgs fired up for payback.... went through GA. some years ago and made a stop at some small roadside store. The owner was sitting outside and spotted the NY plate and asked where we were heading. Told him Auburn AL. where my daughter was living at the time. It was the week GA. was playing Auburn when Cam Newton was there. In his thick southern drawl he said them Dawgs will let loose on Auburn and it won't be close. We talked a few minutes and when we were leaving he yelled "watch them Dawgggggs boy." My son-in -law was a Prof. at Auburn at the time, and got us tickets also. Never been to a college game before. What an experience to be there with 85k plus, it was insane. Auburn crushed them that day and I wanted to go back to that guys place, but we were returning from FL. on the way back home, and it was too far out of the way. That day made me a college fan and we still watch SEC to this day. DAWGGGGGS over AL.
 
And there I was thinking about what state I should stay out of with my Yankee license plates

I kinda think so too. You normally don't get a second chance in these things and they got one. They ain't spent all this time sittin on their laurels I don't believe.
 
This one can go either way just depends one which one shows up. Bama hasn't played as consistent this year because of so many young players. Kirby also knows Bama football as well as anyone from being in Nick's back pocket for years. Will be exciting game. The Tide has been on a good roll

UC had an unbelievable season but the stars had to align perfectly for that to happen. They earned their spot in the play offs but they are not the same caliber of team as any of the other top five schools. Bama was faster, stronger and smarter.
 
I picked Georgia in the poll on this thread...
That means Alabama is going to win the game because that's just the way my luck rolls.

Oh, I totally agree!
UC didn't know what to do with Alabama.
I'm happy with the season that's for sure.
