There are several Amc suppliers that carry new and used parts. Ramblerparts.com KennedyAmerican.com
Amclives.com
Blaserauto.com
Americanpartsdepot.com
Also there’s Facebook Amc groups that you can try.

Thanks. Yes there are some vendors for repop stuff I know. Looking for good used. The FB AMC sites are rally good too. Parts are out there scattered all over the US!

Mopar parts ain't no bargain either!! A USED '70 340 air cleaner going for over $500?
I agree, there are some high $ Mopar parts, what is not more expensive. Wife bought a $9 fryer yesterday!!! I told her we are getting back into some laying hens this spring!!
There are some guys repoping AMC stuff but wow! I understand fewer buyers. It ain't Chevy land ToeDoe!!! or Kansas!!:poke::popcorn:

until YOU own the parts and try to sell them, then it's ten cents on the dollar asking price that is offered...

Depends on what it is, just like Mopar parts. If I had an ST-635 tachometer, I could offer it for $1000 and it wouldn't last two days. There are some deep pockets getting into AMC's.

This is my old 68 AMX bracket car that I raced from around 1978 to 1995. Ran 11.0s in the 1/4 with a mild 401 backed by a TF727 and 9 inch Ford rear with 4:56 gearing. Got it to run 10.98 one night at the late, great Fremont track. Sold it in the summer of 1995 as my youngest daughter was on the way. Found it two years ago residing in a enclosed trailer near Tamworth, NH. Still has the red, white, blue paint job that I did myself in the 1980s. Didn't look bad. Current owner did a lot to it, did a back-half tub/ladder bar kit, upgraded the cage, still has the full interior in it. Tried to buy it back but just didn't work out. Hopefully I can get it back in the near future as the current owner is an older gentleman who isn't in the best of health. He also had an engine built by the late, great AMC racing engine guru Herman Lewis. I miss that car as I raced it all across the country during my active duty Navy career. Started at Gainesville Raceway in Florida, the long closed 1/8th mile track in Jacksonville, up to Maryland International Raceway, Capitol Raceway, Colonial Beach in Virginia, one time down to Englishtown, then out west to Fremont, Sonoma, Sacremento and Bakersfield. Retired from active duty in Brunswick, ME and last raced the AMX in the summer of 1994 at Oxford Dragway. The current owner knows my history with it and really wants me to have it back but he just wants an unreasonable ( to me)

price for it.

I sold the Javelin but jumped back in with both feet. I always wanted a 390 4 spd AMX and I got one. 68 p/s p/b a/c go pak. In black

Thanks for the heads up. Got any pics? My sis had a 68 Javelin back in about 72 or 73. I took it to prom. It was a cream puff.
How'd ya get the dress over those huge hips ?
(On the car) lol

One of my first 'ride alongs' was in a 68 AMX. i think it had a 390 and a 3 speed? My sisters boyfriend. He also had a rusted out 66 goat in his driveway, primary reason my first A body was a 67 GTO. His dad worked at AMC in Kenosha, (im from Racine) Lots of rides home in fuegos, eagles and alliances. His dad also had a red/white n blue scrambler. Good times. Funny how a person who was in my periferal life had such an impact. Be cool to the young ones, ya never know who yer talkin to.
