Serious 340 build into 361 HiRPM Screamer

I actually do have a little something to add to this thread. Just before Christmas I received these sweet Casidium coated .708" wrist pins. The standard pin in the photo is a Mahle .984" pin that comes with their sweet flat tops for a 360--it weighs exactly 120 grams-the .708" pin weighs 70 grams-isn't that remarkable? J.Rob

This is interesting to me. I ordered QFT 600 VS x2 for the planned tunnel ram, and had my carb guru go through. I flowed them with the choke towers on and then I milled the choke towers off and did a little hand blending. We don't need no stinking chokes. Dry flow is marked before and after in Sharpie. I think this will feed the small block nicely. Best part about 2x 600's inline is the throttle feel will be the same or slightly less than a regular Holle 4bl Dbl. J.Rob

I seen that done years n years back and thought about trying it. Finally in 2006 or 8 I did. I was glad I did. Ended up selling it 400 and it went on a 360, then 383.

Do you get better throttle response with the choke towers off?
Also,
How are you setting up the linkage, and what is your reasoning for doing so?
