The Transmission was near the limit
At 450 lbs torque. Im researching now if a 727 will work. Im geussing the engineers didnt want want push the trans to the edge of destruction, thus only 300 hp.
Imagine a V10, twin turbos, cam, programmable ecm, forged 5.9 magnum pistons. .030 Over, etc,
