what rear suspension are you guys using for drag racing

If you are staying with leaf springs I would use Assassin bars by Smith Racecraft in Texas. They have way more adjustability than the Caltrac and that’s a big thing.

If you are going to the work of coil overs, skip the ladder bars and go to a 4 link. If you are not willing to learn to tune a 4 link, leave the leaf springs and use the Assassin bars.

And no matter which way you decide, you NEED double adjustable shocks on all 4 corners. Never underestimate what a good shock will do for chassis tuning. Any single adjustable or 3 way or 9 way shock is a waste of money. If you can’t adjust bump and rebound separately you might as well not bother with an adjustable shock.

Edit: I forgot to mention Smith Racecraft also makes a split mono spring. I’d buy his bars and springs and never look back, unless you decide on a 4 link.

for the sake of having to install a 4 link i would rather stick with the leafs. ill look into the smith racecraft stuff. what shocks would you reccomend
