I didn't know that.
He was quite a sensation/celebrity when SNL was fresh, new, and offered equal opportunity offensiveness before the days of hypersensitivity.

I challenged a Navy Commander (O-5) on my post one night and asked him for his ID, He was taken back and asked "this is ridiculous, Marine...do you know who I am?" I said "NO sir, that's why I'm challenging you!" After I saw his ID I rendered the proper salute and rattled off my 11th general order "...to challenge all persons on or near my post and to allow no one to pass without proper authority" and carried on. My CO got word of this and told me "Well done" in front of a formation.

Given that pig valves and other parts may be used as replacements for humans, makes me wonder why historically some religions/beliefs consider pork unclean(inedible)?

Are pork and human flesh/organs similar? Makes one wonder................ Just saying,
 
Back in the late 60s and early 70s, our local veterinarian was shipping fertilized cow eggs all over the world by putting them inside of pigs for shipping.
 
You either grind those hearts up for sausage or transplant some to save a life.

No matter what, I would still eat bacon and pork chops.
They are one of the world's most perfect foods....

A lot of similarities between humans and pigs.
 
Brother of mine had a pig heart valve swap several years ago. After hearing the cost, I told them at least they could have given you
the damn pig to roast up............

I would love to answer that, but that would break the OPs "no religious talk" request

So, let me say this, get your hands on a book called "none of these diseases" and you will find the Christian-Judeo answer to that questions

On a side note...do you ever watch a show called "monsters inside of me"?
