Most times I'm OK with a 13.

Not really the easiest to find those.

Most stores have them but only 1 or 2 in only a few styles.

14 is even less but I do see them.

Anything over that and you are screwed.

Try finding size 14 or 15 footwear in a small city. The few pairs that most stores might get are gone very quickly. I have been ordering them online for a few years now, but I still have to go to a brick and mortar store to get my work boots. I have found that the sizing varies depending on the brand and the style.
