Stick the shop vac hose into the bell end of a funnel and use the small end to get into hard to reach places. Had to suck out some fluids in the intake valley and this made it very easy to get all the little puddles out

Great idea. I have a funnel with a long spout. Now I know how to get the dirt and other crap out of the crevice between the door sill and the seat rail.

.............And here I've argued with a small scrap of hose and "duck tape" LOLOL

I did a similar trick to do the exact same thing in the lifter valley this past summer. Except for instead of a funnel I used a variety of electrical and plumbing fittings that was laying around to make a more permanent removable hose attachment that necked down to a piece of 3/8” copper tubing that is bent in a curved shape and about 6 or 8 inches long or something…. I will get pics next time I see it. It started with a 1” EMT adapter, then used a 1” NPT to 1/2” NPT pipe coupler and then back to a 1/2” CGB adapter which would normally seal a rubber cork around a piece of electrical wire but I used the copper tubing at this point. It is simple thing to make up and handy as heck, like your funnel.

A funnel trick for those of us that LOVE our 4-doors, much easier way to add the differential fluid after servicing the pumpkin.

Another shop vac stunt- to clean out the cowl I taped the U shaped part of a sink drain P trap on the intake hose to get all the crap from around the vent holes.

Cool funnel tricks yall! I had a gal show me a funnel trick once. I caint post about it though.

An upturned 32 Oz (or 40 Oz) beer bottle fits perfectly into a transmission funnel.

Good idea.

I used a similar one with a piece of hose and tape to get down in the trunk in between the quarter and trunk extensions.

Won't work for me. All my funnels are the top halves of plastic quart jugs from engine oil.

Done that trick before too.

Some times that is exactly the right tool for the job at hand.

Also used a piece of paper rolled up and spread out on one end.

WAY better than no funnel at all.
