WTF is up with KFC

On a side note...anyone ever seen a flick called "poultrygeist"?

(Trailer may be NSFW, and definitely in poor taste)

I work with a woman that owns a Maryland Fried Chicken franchise, but hasn't operated it in several years.

Yall ain't seen this yet? "Plant based" chicken and people are runnin to buy it and don't even know what's in it. "Beyond chicken" It's green, so maybe it's people.

Maybe it's ground up vegans.

But seriously, you're absolutely right. People go nuts over the meat substitutes, but it's a fact that they contain more preservatives and "other" stuff that makes them less healthy than if you were to just stick with good ole real meat. And most of the time, nobody knows what they're eating, they just go for it because the companies have convinced them it's healthy through marketing and packaging. And as a bonus, they can feel righteous like they're saving the planet one animal at a time. Pathetic.

Beef tongue... thats where its at.... natural, no preservatives, solid good meat..tastes great! No it does not taste just like chicken!!:poke::thankyou::thumbsup:
Like McDonalds touts "100% beef" They don't tell what part of the cow the meat comes from. Tongue, organs, dairy cow bags, it's all beef.

there’s a really good taco truck down the road, their tongue tacos are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had.

They must be doing pretty good. My son lives in a not so great neighborhood in Austin (cheap rent) until his house is built. It’s pretty rough there. The KFC down the street is only open for 4 hours every day……they run out of chicken.

What amazes me more is your statement that you have to prove your vaccinated to eat inside! Talk about an invasion of ones privacy!

i seen a piece on tv about Mc Donald's and it's so called 100% beef . The beef used in the burger is 100% beef but they don't mention that the other half of the burger is soy fillers among lots of other things .

I worked at a KFC back around 1970 when I was 16 years old for around 6 months. Back then it was delicious but during my time there I never ate one piece of chicken even though I loved it. When you smell fried chicken and only fried chicken it kinda gets old. I always thought the place was slow till I worked there but when you have people stop for 12-16 pieces of chicken one after another that’s a lot of cooking for one person. It’s sucks now and I will never stop there again.

Whenever you see “lengua” on the menu, it’s tongue. Order it! You might love it. Another good one is “cabeza” or “head.”

Sorta like
brains and eggs" (hog brains), just never had the desire to have any!!!

Never had the desire as a kid for any, then one day when I was about 19, I stopped at a country store there in SW Ga. As that car pulled away in a really big hurry, I went inside to pay for my gas to find the owner and his wife shot dead..in the head..brains over all over the wall.
Just another reason I still carry the loaded 38 in the glove box and the sawed off 12 ga. behind the seat. Really.

It’s like “Rocky Mt Oysters” the thought of eating bull’s balls is wrong. But I’ll tells ya, they are damn good. Why do ya think “Cowboys” were real men? The one peps in the “Crazy Northwest” like is fried chicken gizzards. Most gas stations with food up here have them. It’s like frog legs down in the swamp lands…

Oh man, I got a great story about gizzards

Remind me to tell you when I'm not on the phone

while traveling Route 66 in 2019 we stopped at an old famous greasy spoon place that just had a sign that said “Eat” might have been on Oklahoma...can’t remember but all the food shows shot an episode there at one time...anyways we were really hungry, so ordered an appetizer, seen “Calf Fries” on the menu with no description so I figured we try them. When they came they looked like cheese curds, took a bite, we’re not cheese curds, but couldn’t put my finger on it. Wife tried one, same thing, but then she had her suspicion that they were something else...so she looked them up as I kept eating. I ate one a little larger and then the texture made me think, and when I made a guess my wife had said what they were at the same time, young Bull testicles! She couldn’t eat anymore of them but I finished them off, they were not bad and I was hungry, we still laugh about it lol
