1970 Dart Accident and need fix up recommendations/ Advice!!

-
no Question, I've been looking for those pieces for a really long time to no avail! why doesn't Classic industries or another outfit make them? seems like those lil trim pieces get dogged really easily and would be a popular cheap and cheerful buy. if you have a line on a set let me know!
Have you started a wanted thread here on FABO? You might find just what you are looking for.

Would you consider Fiberglass fender? I found a pair of them online that look complete and correct for the car and the price seems reasonable. Let me know your thoughts, I want to get it right. I need to get the shop to assess the inner fender. other suggestions welcome. I think I may have a line on some metal fenders too!!!

Jeez, Id almost be tempted to buy the fenders for the body trim. Take it off and then re sell the fenders!!

a couple of suggestions:
the hood and fender are toast - I bet even if things are bent inside the engine compartment they can all be fixed. Fatal thing on the hood is the bend next to the hood hinge - that will never stand the strain of pulling the hood down in the future even if it looks good when the work is finished.
The trim on the fender isn't stock - the 70 trim ends square, not pointed. is it connected with nylon clips underneath or adhesive?
I would put money on those fenders NOT being fiberglass - owner probably looked at the fiberglass extension next to the grille and made an assumption - they may be just what you need.
Look for a body shop that does old and specialty cars - not a typical collision shop.

Yup! You're correct! Here's a pic of factory moulding. As you said square, not pointed. I learn something new about a-bodies every day on here!!

OMG that car is amazing. Loretta is going to need to go to the beauty salon to keep up!

Just keep makin' it better - I've owned this one since 1989. There is a value to sticking with a project for the long haul

Been pretty successful in finding some trim for the body, I got fenders, but the hood is the biggie! just no luck! any more suggestions welcome. Reached out to wildcat and see what they say. I appreciate the help!!

You could always look for a fiberglass hood
