Hello first post and new to the site. I own a 1973 duster that was untouched from a farm around 1983. It had the usual ammeter damage to everything and the wiring was pretty hacked to include multiple radios. I have a few wires I am attempting to track done.

1) First is this connector with 2 orange and 2 yellow
- it has power with key off on the yellow side if correct.
- I am completely unsure where it goes ( it is not showing on any of my diagrams.

2) on the fuse block I have attempted to locate my stock radii wire but cannot locate one anyone got a picture of their original plug ( 2 orange/white/red?

DO you have a factory manual? If not go to MyMopar and download one. You may have to settle for Dodge/ vs Plymouth. There are two files, one for Chassis and one for body.

Find the wiring diagrams, and go on past them a few pages. Behind them are some drawings depicting the various cojnnectors. "CE" means "connector, engine bay" and "CI" means "Connector, Instrument panel

Whatever you are hanging onto does not seem factory. Is it going? to the ignition switch? Maybe a non original switch?

Are you sure the one plug is 2x yel and 2x org, and instead is 2x yel and 2x PINK?

Welcome to the site!
You will find all your answers here, along with some great people with a lot of collective knowledge on everything A-Body.

To your question. I'm thinking that the yellow wiring is part of a courtesy lamp/ dome light or console lighting circuit. The orange should be a section of lighting that is dimmer controlled. I also think the red and white wires are the original radio connections. As our resident electrical guru, 67dart273 stated above, get the wiring diagrams from MyMopar. They are invaluable!

Agree there were some major hacks. The ammeter or its connections probably got damaged because they didn't understand what they were doing.
The ammeter is, or was, in the battery circuit. So it will be critical to figure out how the battery is now connected in.
This is the basic power feeds for a '73 Duster unless it has the fleet type alternator or rear window defrost grid.

So on your year there are, or were oriignally, 7 fuse slots.
2 are fed from the main splice are always hot.
3 were fed from the key switch. They are labled 'Accessory'.
We were just helping on a '73 so look here to see the fuse diagram.
The post underneath shows the wiring to the radio for power. Follow wire C1 to X12. There's a seperate wire for the radio light. I didn't include it in the diagram because it was irrelivant to the problem we were looking at. When you look at the full diagram in the shop manual, you will see it.

I will check them again and get another picture.

I did buy a good one just doesn't show the circled connection. One I'm holding is my radio connector.

Just a guess, delay timer. Yellow wires are door switches.
