I'll admit it.... Brand X that I really like, and it's a GM.

I've mentioned before that I like "classic cars", and owned others besides Mopars. However, in my car past I've owned a couple of '66 Buick Specials. They were fun to drive, reliable, and good-looking cars. The '66-67 Specials/Skylarks have always been in the back of my mind. Someday, I wouldn't mind owning another....

TRAITOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Flog him now!
Just kidding!:poke:
My buddy had a 67 Skylark 4 dr hardtop way back, had a 340 with a super turbine transmission (or something like that). That car was a ton of fun and near impossible to kill. He finally blew it up one morning on the way to work, wide open throttle in first gear until it scattered. Pulled it apart and found that the cam had broken in two pieces, and one of them had been jammed into the torque convertor.
My asshole brother had a pair of '65 Skylark Gran Sports, one was a 401 4 bbl automatic, the other had a dual quad from a Riviera on the 401 and a 4 speed.
I have a real liking for the 70 Stage 1 cars, but likely will never have one since they are not in my budget. I also would love to have a 70 Chevelle SS454, but that won't likely happen either, though my brother has a tribute car that I have had a chance to drive a couple times.
