Morning Fred, any action on the snow mountain left by your wonderful neighbor?
Morning Randy.. Cops said he would look into it but said I might have to take him to court.
My boys are ready to come help blow it back in his yard and would be happy to rub his face in it.

And send him an invoice for equipment, fuel and labour. Why should your friends and you have to pay to fix his mistakes.

Take lots of pictures. He’ll think it’s to much money for you to Pursue it in court. Keep sending invoices interest added then turn it over to a bill collection agency. Even if he doesn’t pay you’ll screw his credit rating.

One way or another I will get even with him.

You're not a bad guy Fred, that asshole is. He put you in a position where you have to defend yourself, don't let him get away with it or chances are his bullshit will never stop.

Yep your right Jeff. I need to calm down I pack my pistol all the time even at home and I put it in my gun safe till I calm down.

Good morning and happy Friday , got a serious question for a Friday morning, I’ve been thinking about moving jobs to another shop just not sure if I should pull the trigger, both have pros and cons just a little up in the air right now , have a few more years to retire to switch or not to switch , stay with the devil you know or move ??

A lot depends on incentives for me, I'm in much the same situation, considering moving to a different company, maybe even a different job. I may also have a chance to change my job with the current company, and since I have been working with them for over 4 years, I am not sure if I will be better off changing employers. Sometimes I think it might be better the devil you know, I have a fair amount of freedom and respect where I am now, I've earned it by being a reliable employee and not causing any problems. But at the same time I am getting bored with my job, and I'm finding that my age and life experiences are starting to catch up with me. If I can take the new position, I'll be able to work a little bit less hard physically, but still have the same or slightly more income. Plus I won't lose my health benefits by changing employers, or vacation entitlement.

Been in that situation a few times and it's like flipping a coin. Is one closer to home? or a nicer shop is important also.
Not having someone screw up your tools is another good question.

I jumped around a bit in the working world. My best move was from my first job as an apprentice. "Once an apprentice always an apprentice" is what my dad said and he was correct. I give any job 3 months before bailing. Only had 2 like that. Most where around 10 years.
Another thing my dad said was "I only had one job that I didn't like. I worked there 21 years" lol. Got him a nice little retirement too.

Had a boss that had cameras all around the body shop and he sit behind his desk all day watching people work and if you did something he didn't like he was on his loud speaker yelling at you so everyone could hear. That job didn't even last a day. lol

Well some good advice thankyou a lot to consider it's a sideways move would be at the bottom of the shop but that's ok I really want to start working a day less per week, the shop is a lot nicer at the other place , I do have some freedom here but still micro managed at times ,but I think that to be true of most places , the other shop is kept clean and organized , and he puts money back into the shop on appropriate tools , and he wants quality where as here its production over quality , but I still produce quality that's all I have as a person.

Yup cameras here but not in shop , if I'm talking to a coustomer hes out of his office right now ! That part is a con.

I would not be involved in day to day operations at the other shop. Pro
