Yesterday the tree guys had to cut a road into the front of the property, nearest the power lines. The crew would just keep moving the plywood in. Looks like a war zone in there, I have some clean up to do.

Undersea volcano eruption in Tonga. The locals reported 2 1/2' tall waves :eek:. It should be here in 75 minutes. I'm 12 miles from the beach and 250' above sea level. I think we'll be ok. NWS has their warning stretching 30 miles inland :lol:

Darkest brown being the big waves.

Wax up your surfboard. When you run out of water you will be on the other side of town.

2.5 feet tall waves don’t sound all that big

So L A Streets are getting a cleaning courtesy of mother nature?

That's a lot of plowing, should be some fun watching tonight on the 5 o'clock news (crashes).
Went down the other day to the Coast Guard Pay Center which is located here (ya why in Kansas).
The young CG clerk was processing my card and we were talking about winter.
She's from Texas and had never driven in the snow before. A couple weeks ago was her first time and scared her to death.
She told me that in college it snowed once but she only saw a few snowflakes.
I said oh snowflakes, so you went to school on the west coast or east coast??
She gave me a funny look, but the gal seating next to her was laughing. :D

Not that I've seen. They seem more concerned about the unusual currents that may accompany it. Vicious rip tide kinda stuff. I hope Tim has his stuff covered up, he's about to get rained on in O'side.
That cars used to getting soaked.
I think the sheet metal was recycled Submarine parts. Sorry Bud .:poke:
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Might be different than a regular wave that just breaks on the shore, would think it depends on where the tide is at the time. I know we received a warning once when I was stationed on Oahu, didn't really even see it hit the shore in that case. Hopefully this one doesn't catch anyone off guard and is small.
