I'll admit it.... Brand X that I really like, and it's a GM.

Nothing wrong with a Buick. Classy, luxury, muscle cars! When I got my 1st real job, out of school, I considered buying a 1970 GSX from one of the salesmen where I worked (similar to the photo).

We have a young couple in our club that had a BIG BUICK ELECTRA 225

Somebody offered him stupid money for it, so it has been sold. Now this young couple have a baby on the way (May) and needed a new, more family oriented ride.

Deuce and a Quarter. In 1981, my father-in-law bought one - a 76 or so, can't remember for sure, but it looked almost exactly like this one except for the color - for my stepdaughter because he thought it would be "safe." Had a smog 455, four barrel carb, single exhaust and (if I remember correctly) a catalytic converter. Don't know how many of you have any experience with GM's pellet catalytic converters, but they were horrendously restrictive. Car was really torquey, felt powerful until you wound it out and realized it fell on its face about 4 grand. We timed it at ten seconds zero to 60. Always wondered how much faster it would have been with just a good dual exhaust system. Anyway, my stepdaughter thought it wasn't cool, so we bought her an Opel GT and sold the Electra to a brother for $600. We thought that was a really good price. LOL
