Dual Quad 318... I used a 273 intake

-
I have a question about the dual quads on a 318. Wouldn't that much carburation be to much for a 318? What about throttle response and low end torque
I did it about 8 years ago and the Forum near tared and feathered me for just thinking of the idea... But then I took it to the drag strip and lost a half second... And had great throttle response and the tunnel of ram still resides on my Stroker motor to this day...

A plug nonetheless... LOL...
In AA we called this justification.. lol ..
I'm a very poor reader. I can't stay focused. When people post more than a short paragraph, I most likely will not read it. A novel book is the worst thing to get me. I would much rather watch a 3 minute video, like the one I posted in 2020 to start this thread LOL :D :D P.S. - My channel needs no plugs :)

This is one of the reasons I have AJ on ignore. My goodness you scroll for 3 minutes just trying to get past his post...
And for goodness sakes it's the same one 3/4 of the time....

I'm sure he's a good guy, but I can't read a book. I'm a poor reader, and probably dumb because of it.

For "awhile" I had a stock Chev intake off a 265 dual quad Corvette, that a friend had had, and "ported" the barrels to match a pair of carb spacers so they would mount larger AFB's. (They came with WCFBs, the tiny little 4 bbls basially same as the old Rochester "4 jet")

There were some TAPERED holes in all of that!!!
