None of that makes any difference for the swap he wants to do. He just needs to keep everything on the donor engine, that belongs with that engine, except for the items I mentioned. The items that need changing to do the swap, interchange with no issues.

It would if any of the parts in question are bad on either engine and he decides to swap them. It doesn't hurt to know what fits and what doesn't. He's not the only one watching this thread. Others may have similar questions about early and late swaps and what will work or not when searching for a replacement engine.
