Welcome! Looks like a fun car to work on, nice save and enjoy the site!

If you find you need any parts be sure to check the for sale section or start a post in the “parts wanted” section for anything you need, lots of parts here! I have a couple nice grilles for that 75-76 if you happen to need one!

Thank you! Need to dig through the trunk of miscellaneous stuff it came with and once we get inventory I will do!

WELCOME. It's great to have another lady join. We stand by to help as much as you need. Great looking project car.

Welcome to the madness we call FABO. Looks like you are going to fit in well. Like others...I love the patina on your car!!!

Welcome aboard glad to have you! Sweet duster that looks very solid and complete. Look forward to seeing more of it.

N37 means it had a catalytic convertor which was a new thing for the 75 model year that not every car had, but the vast majority did.

The first generation catalytic convertor was absolutely nothing like they are now but it was a start.

Nice car, I have the almost exact copy of that car except mine is tan and needs a bit more rehab.

Thank you! She needs to be gone though. Likely 4 barrel carb, have some issues with throttle cable/linkage and stuff. So for now just getting her running and driving better. Keep the 318. You know how projects go, seems like the plans constantly change hahaha!

I'll give you some advice. I give it to everyone in hopes that they learn from my mistakes. When you start "going thru it" only tackle one thing at a time and keep it as assembled as possible. In other words if you plan on redoing the front suspension do one side at a time and do not start anything else until that task is complete. When I started my car 20 years ago I had a list of all this stuff that needed to be done and being young and neive thought I could do it like they did on TV and completely gutted the whole car. Then I got overwhelmed and pushed it to the side. Life happened, had kids working all the time and just couldn't get back into it. Every so often I'd go and tinker on it but never really accomplished anything because all the parts that I took of where spread out everywhere and I could never find what I needed and got aggravated and walked away. I finally told myself I was gonna get it done no matter what and 4 years ago I really got into it deep. Its taken 4 years and its just now back together. Its still not complete I need to finish paint and interior but the car is finally drivable. So what im saying is to keep the car in a drivable condition. So when yoy get one task completely you can start it drive it and enjoy it until your up to the next task. That keeps you motivated. When a car is in a thousand pieces it gets overwhelming and its easy to push it to the side

Thank you agreed!! I don’t want it to lose its functional ability, probably sounds silly but part of the reason I didn’t WANT to have my own previously is almost every car person I know has all these project cars just sitting. I don’t want that. I want it driving, even if it looks “ugly” to most people, or the exterior still is a mess, or it could use more pep haha. I don’t want it just in pieces. Appreciate the confirmation of why I’ll be so adamant about it not just being in pieces working on multiple things. Too much happening at once and not being able to enjoy the car becomes deflating to me!

Agree with above. If it has linkage problems at the carb, start there. The throttle pressure linkage has to be right or you will quickly destroy the transmission. If you throw a 4 barrel on it, use the correct adapter linkage for a mopar to get the throttle pressure/kickdown adjusted properly.

My interior is needs alot of work still but the major parts is done. All tho I do have to pull the heater box again because my "new" heater core is leaking. Thank goodness I didn't put in new carpet yet lol. I painted the dash, installed a new used dash pad, the rear door panels are in i gotta enter redo or replace the front door panels they are pretty rough. This spring my focus is working out all the kinks I have a bunch of leaks and what not. And paint. Hoping to have it painted by this fall. I will give you another piece of advice. Before you go and buy expensive new aftermarket parts look on here, search , post want adds etc there are so many good people on here with good tons of parts. I've got a ton of parts at an excellent price and even donated for the cost of shipping. Even some completely free. This is a great site with great people. Don't let the few bad apples get you down and run you off. I can post a link to my build thread of your interested in checking it out?

Welcome from the great white North of Alaska! Glad to see another B5 Blue Duster in the mix. The sun dried patina is amazing.

Welcome from the frozen tundra, you could not have joined a more opinionated, eclectic, passionate, determined, and supportive group of gearheads. Ask anything you want and someone has been there done that and is willing to share their info and experience willingly and openly. Many of us meet at races or swap meets and share lies dogs and beers. Just a great group, just think how good your car would look in Sublime? Hah! Have fun.
