that's not factory
when I procured this car everything was orange and the radiator support got painted right away... I sprayed the top half of the aluminum radiator too but left the bottom bit visible above the valance.

I've used SEM trim black on interior surfaces, but nothing on the exterior. How's it hold up to the elements and UV? Does it get chalky over time?
I put an inexpensive factory style spoiler on my daily 16 Dart and painted it with spray can SEM Trim Black. That was in 2017 and it still looks good. The car sits outside too...not in a garage. The Trim Black is meant to be used on exterior trim. Very good paint.

I did not know about the blacked out paint after I painted my car until a few years later when someone pointed it out to me. Every time I open the hood I think to myself one day I’ll fix it right. May be a good winter project for me, so I have one month to do it, winter will be over in about 4 weeks here. It just started next week.
We'll have to meet some time. I'm in Lynnwood. I've met several members on this site. All have been great guys, and we swap parts from time to time. Paul.
