That’s what we wondered as well. Don’t know how it avoided rust, but the mid body stripes line up perfectly and don’t look like they were ever re-done. Don’t know much about the cars history. Only thing I can imagine is maybe it was shaded or somewhat parked under something? The trunk, roof and passenger side has the most, so maybe just happened to be parked at an angle where driver door and a good amount of hood preserved? I’ll take a closer pic of what o meant with the stripes
