Ii was watching Hot Rood Garage on MotorTrend this morning and they were messing around with an old Turbo Caravan. One thing they showed was the power rear vent windows on the van. I remember seeing them a long time ago and wondering if they could be retrofit into the rear windows of my Duster. Has anyone done this?

What's so hard about reaching in and unlatching them and then popping them out manually?
It seems like a lot of work for a very little gain in convenience......

Removal could be swift and violent......

First time a rear seat passenger hits the side of their head on one they would likely rip it off!

I will have to look at one and see. They look like packaging won't be a big deal because of the long drive shaft on it. My main concern iis how tough they will be. All plastic makes me wonder.

I noticed some of the later generation club cab power wagons had pop out windows and it's giving me ideas....

mechanical air grabber hood vents? ......Those rear vent windows prevent buffeting when the side windows are down. The 2007 Chrysler T&C had individual controls while the next gen 2012 made both the same switch.

Expeditions were individual controls in the early ones, up to 2002 or 2003, then became single switch operated.

I would like individual remote controls from the driver's compartment for them..

I was thinking of having them on a maintained contact switch that would power up with the key. If the switch was left on, they would open and close when the car was started and stopped. Turn off the switch and they stay closed. I also want power windows but I'm probably going to use an aftermarket kit for that.
