Recently seen people asking what certain car parts are for or what they fit. I think it would be a great idea to have a section for this, as long as the poster provides a picture, we can help each other out. We all get stumped from time to time and it’s fun to help others ID stuff as well...thoughts?
 
Too many sections already watering down things.

Most people view this site in “recent post” or “new post” mode

We don’t seem to see the same parts being asked about over and over. It’s like a one and done question. So I don’t see storing them as a knowledge base in a section proves much. Whereas some special sections have long running threads that create a knowledge base to refer back to.

I don’t see many people digging into a special section to spot parts.

parts ID posts should be part of the "for sale" section, because you know it will turn into a for sale post anyway
 
Still seeing lots of threads about identifying parts....sure would be nice to have a section for them :popcorn:
