#29 '67/8 Barracuda Trans Am car...

Yea. Guess this thread goes back before either Steve or I were posting here, but discussed in mopax.
The last clue I reported there was finding Gerarld Robinson's hometown listed in the race results posted here: http://www.autocourse.ca/archives/track-archives/monttremblant/1970-transam.htm
IIRC Robinson did reasonably well in one T/A race. When you look at the vehicle attrition the big bore class in 1970, that was pretty good for an independent. Now I have to remember where that website is with scans/photos of the race results.
We never got too far with either the car or the driver.
There was a namesake independent in the early 70s whose Anthony Robinson is active in the SCCA. I contacted the Anthony in 2005. He thought it was his dad. Nope. His dad only raced on the west coast and drove a Corvette. Before that his dad was driving NHRA.

Now that the SCCA archives is established in a professional research library, I've been meaning to make another request to see if they have any additional info.
