I've been trying to track down my first car. 1974 Dart Sport Hang Ten. Purchased by the first owner after the dealer used it as a Demo car for local parades in New Wilmington, PA.
I bought the car from the first owners in 2002 in Rohnert Park, CA for a whopping $1,000. My dad worked at a local DCJ dealer and had the rear end, transmission and front suspension rebuilt before daily driving the car for 6 years. After that, I got into e36 M3s and after buying a new S2000 in 2006, I sold the car to a father and son in San Jose, CA around 2010?
I had replaced the interior with all white vinyl, red loop carpet replaced the shag, center console was removed but went with the car. The paint was stripped and the car was in Dk Grey Epoxy when sold.
I have all of the original sales paperwork and window sticker.
CA DMV doesn't do Vin searches and I can't seem to find any of our communications in my old AOL account.
