No idea never saw one before. Rev limiter? It has the plug for a ecu but the body of a VR? Those I have seen adjustable. Any numbers on it at all? The other is definately a ECU low rev OEM

If it is some brand of performance module, I find it odd that it's a 5 pin instead of the more universal 4 pin types. May help date it to the years before they went 4 pin.
No numbers or any type of identification on it at all. It was covered in a thick coat of black paint that was flaking off (no paint marks), cleaned it up a bit looking for stampings, no luck. Dug through some old speed catalogs and DC catalogs looking for something similar, but no luck there either. Not Industrial or Chrysler Marine, either; as near as I can tell.
Yes, seems odd that it uses a VR type case. I'm half-tempted to just hook it up and see what it does, but not until I've got some idea what I'm dealing with.
