Hello all, My name is Daniel Armstrong I'm a heavy equipment operator mining phosphate ore. I found this site while looking for ideas for 8-3/4 rear axle widths. I am currently in the build process on a 1975 Plymouth Duster that was getting ready for the crusher at my family's junk yard. It's roof was crushed in and pretty much stripped of the running gear and interior. So far I have replaced the roof and pillars, dash and wiring off a very rusted '74. Swapped in front disc brakes out of an 85 Chrysler New Yorker 5th avenue, narrowing an 8-3/4 rear axle from dodge truck, 440 and 727 from a motor home going in after the new floor pan. Thanks for having me here I am really enjoying the site and look forward to meeting you all. I will post progress photos of my build if I remember to take pictures!

Here is a couple of pictures of my Duster from a couple of months ago. I'm horrible about taking pictures of the progress.

Welcome to FABO. If you are looking for parts you will need to start a wanted thread in the proper forum. Good luck.

Welcome to FABO from North Georgia way!! I'm good at remembering to take "after" pictures. "before" not so much...
Thank you! I'm kind of the same way! When I had the roof cut off cousin kept telling me that I should take pictures and I agreed with him. Well I finally took a picture of it a few weeks ago. Only a month after I finished welding it haha. I like your Barracuda, there is one of them sitting in the "for sale only" section of the junkyard that is a V8 manual.

Welcome FNG! You found a good site! Lots of good info and a little BS added for good measure!!

cars looking good!!

I’m a Millwright from up north. I work the Itafos Conda turnaround every June. Stayed in Monty last year. Your yard just northeast of town? Swear I saw a 66’ Barracuda back there. My wife dropped off my new Petro-Canada 55 gallon drums there. She didn’t want them in our yard.

I'm horrible about taking pictures of the progress.its been a busy few months at work and figured I would show some of the progress. Here is pics of the '69 valiant front clip partially installed, wiring harness in dash, these days off I am finishing the interior. There is a couple of pictures of the roof that came off the car and picture of the car the donor roof came from.
