The problem with the gear vendor is it's another $3K and only 20% overdrive. So, that would make our 4.88s seem like 3.90s on the highway at dragweek. Not bad, but not great. Also, with this giant 4.25 inch crank i'm thinking it's going to have plenty of torque for the 3.54 gears. Then again, this boat weighs over 4,000 lbs. Choices choices. We are trying to run with the Pontiacs.
