difference between china/new zealand EQ iron heads

Here is the thread @MOPAROFFICIAL did on his Chinese version heads. It’s a good read with lots of details.

And can you believe that even after measuring the ports to be 150cc 'not 179cc like advertised' that they still wouldn't credit me after the 2nd COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CASTING SHOWED UP.
This is why I tell folks...dont buy from them if can help it. They're fucked, liars and scammers.

were the RHS X heads cast in NZ? Looks the same.

^ hahaha.
are you gonna fresh up the valve job and do a bowl blend? be interesting to see if they end up in the same range as the IMM prepped Xheads. the IMM xheads have a 2.02" intake valve though. that CH318 is probably 1.925"

These are for a circle track class...... no porting allowed.
Just here for a freshen up.

When I get to working on them, if I remember, I’ll cc an intake runner.

I read awhile back that edelbrock heads and intakes are still made here in the states, is this true? Are there any cylinder heads, intake manifolds made in the USA?
Cast in the Edelbrock foundry in CA and machined in their new facility in MS.

Check these for casting numbers around the valve spring areas to see if they are original Chrysler castings before discounting them as Chinese versions, just to be sure.

had to take another peek just in case. no casting numbers on the take ports under the valve covers.
makes sense, the ad when i bought the car said the heads were "new magnum castings with thicker decks".

As I've always said, cheaper is not always better. Edelbrock, TW, etc sound like a better choice for a cylinder head
